Lewis Carroll was onto something particularly special for it to have persisted through the ages to this day; still offering a charming little flight of fancy that’s well worth the trip to the local odeon. This time it’s Tim Burton who’s taken a crack at telling the story, albeit with a slight spin of his own. This works on some fronts moreso than others, but all in all it works out to be a very pleasant experience.
